20 Weeks

½ way to being a mommy! I am so excited I can not stand the anticipation. I am so blessed to have all the help that I have. My grandmother bought the baby furniture…thank you thank you thank you. We will be setting it all up this weekend. My grandmother has done so much for me. (Grandpa I miss you and wish you had the chance to meet Bella.) My sweet friend Mrs. Freeman found a lady to recover my glider for a very reasonable price. Mrs. Freeman saved me a ton!! Everything seems to be coming together thanks to all of our family and friends.

My mom and dad continue to be excited. Mom calls every morning and night just to say HELLO to Bella. I love you mom and dad.

I have now gained 7 or 8 pounds. I need to BE CAREFUL! We went to the lake and I ate like a pig so I need to get it under control because everybody says the last months are when you pack on the pounds. My goal this summer when school is out: swim in the mornings at my mom’s neighborhood pool and walk in the evenings at White Oaks. This should help keep the weight gain to a minimal.

Tuesday I agreed to coach cheerleading at South Paulding’s Feeder program. This was a very difficult decision which took me several days to decide what I wanted to do. I love coaching cheerleading and I want Bella to be raised around cheerleading. I am super excited about working with Brandi Colvin the SPHS coach. I also like that she is allowing me to run the program the way I want (Everybody knows I am a control freak). Anybody that knows me knows that I am strict, mean, BUT good at coaching. My girls will continue to be the BEST in the county. I feel honored that both high schools wanted me to run their programs (the choice was all mine and I chose the one that is the most similar to my coaching style)!!! Get excited my new colors are cardinal and gold!!!

Bella Grace: mommy would really like it if you LOVED cheerleading! P.S. daddy wants you to do other sports BUT if mommy has a say you will be a superstar cheerleader!

So next weeks post should have some pictures of the baby’s room in progress. The stroller and car seat Jay purchased is so stinking cute. I go in Bella’s room everyday just to look at the car seat. Jay said that when he put it in his car that it made it seem so REAL (and I am not talking strapping it in, I am talking still in the box). FYI JAY it is REAL and you are going to be an amazing FATHER. I think I am looking most forward to seeing Jay hold our little girl and within seconds being wrapped around her finger.
