19 weeks

Yet another great week being pregnant! I am so close to half way. I am getting a little scared thinking about how in 20 weeks or less I will be holding my baby girl. Wednesday or Saturday we are purchasing our first baby item. We are buying a travel system with an extra base off Craig’s List for $160. I have searched for a Chicco travel system that was in our price range yet a color that will work for ALL of our children. WE FOUND IT! The color is a dark grey with orange piping. I like the orange for Jay’s Tennessee Volunteer’s. I am posting a picture of the stroller and car seat.

I have made progress in the baby’s room. The room is completely cleaned out (the closet is not.) The new carpet looks great. My next month goals for her room is to buy new blinds, electric coverings, prettier light fixture for her fan, and paint her room PINK. WOW her room is going to be so adorable.

I have several friends who are going to help me with the canvases on the wall, belly cast, and sit around stuff. Thank you Michelle and Galloway!!!

I am so excited. I will post belly pictures later this week.

Bella Grace: Mommy and daddy love you very much!!!

Bella's room decore

I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THIS WEBSITE!
http://paintedpresent.com/shop_products.php
Here are some of the cute things I have picked out:

18 Weeks

Week 18 has been GREAT! I love being pregnant. I feel my little stinker move all the time. Feeling her move makes it seem more REAL! Jay and I went to the doctor on Wednesday and EVERYTHING looks great. We had another sonogram and they said she is a very active baby. She would not stop moving. The doctor also said she is cramped in my uterus (her feet were over her head). There is plenty of room but she is always doing a headstand in the smallest part of my uterus.

Good news I have lost a pound since the last visit. So I have gained a total of 6 pounds and I am 18 weeks and 5 days. I would have to say it feels like my boobs weigh 3 pounds each! The doctor thinks I am doing great with my weight. I have been walking/jogging almost everyday and eating more fruits and grilled food.

A year ago Sunday I said “I do” to my husband JAY! Thanks Jay for marrying me and giving me my sweet baby girl. I love you so much. WOW everybody says the first year is the hardest. If that is the case you and I will be one HECK of a couple. Sunday we are going to eat at Ruth’s Chris and having our year old wedding cake.

My belly picture’s this week look about the same as last week. I am also adding a cute profile picture of Bella Grace and Payton.

GOALS:
1. Start cleaning out Bella’s closet
2. Picking out pant and painting her room
3. Deciding what I want Galloway to paint on her walls… (Any ideas?)
4. Adding arm weights and leg exercises to my program
5. Finding things I enjoy doing that does not require Jay…work is keeping him busy and we need him to make the money. If I am bothering (texting/calling) him I am hurting our income flow!
a. Reading
b. Workout
c. Tennis
d. Swimming
e. Shopping (but I spend to much money)
f. Movies

I told you I was unhappy with my belly pictures this week so I am posting them again. I think if I took 100 pictures I still would not be happy. I am at the FAT stage. I want to look pregnant and not fat. I know my time will be here before I know it!!!

Notice Payton in the pictures with me…she loves her mommy. I am anxious to see how jealous my sweet dogs are of Bella Grace. Everybody says my dogs will not be important to me after she is born. THEY ARE SO WRONG. I have always been a big dog fan!

Walking 3 miles yesterday was a little hard…I am hoping it was because it was so hot! Don’t worry even if it is hard I will still be walking because I like to eat.

P.S. I LOVE YOU JAY! Thanks for being the best husband EVER.

17 weeks 4 days

Week 17 has been good so far. I have felt great. I have been walking as much as the weather will allow. I did a modified version of kickboxing the other night…goodness my legs are sore. I also got to see my friend’s cute pregnant belly this week. I think she is the cutest pregnant woman ever. I am very excited to be having kids so close together because we have a lot in common. She is/was my running buddy. Once our babies are born I want to starting running with her again (running 5k’s). JAY you know what that means: I NEED A BOB! P.S. I found the yellow BOB I want on Craig’s List for $150.

As far as my job goes: I AM STILL HOLDING MY BREATH. I love being a teacher. This year has been a tough year with some of my co-workers but nothing Jay can’t help me get over. Jay reminds me how great of a job teaching will be when Bella Grace is growing up. I would love being on the same schedule as her. I am crossing my fingers for Friday…I want a contract in my hand!!! There are 3 more weeks until summer.

Mary’s wedding is this weekend, so we are going to be VERY busy. I am sure my feet our going to hurt when it is over. But it will be worth it to see my childhood friend marry the man of her dreams.

Like most pregnant women my emotions are a little crazy. This weeks belly pictures made me upset because I felt like they turned out BAD because Jay was in a hurry. It is so much easier to blame Jay for EVERYTHING! Ha ha ha We will be taking belly pictures again this week with a better outfit.

Bella Grace: your mommy and daddy love you so very much. It is weird how we already love you more than anything in this world. Don’t tell your daddy BUT I think he is going to be a way better parent because he is so easy going. I was yelling yesterday about something (who knows what) and Jay leaned over and whispered to my belly, “Bella your mommy is a yeller so if you ever need anything you will come to me.” He is probably right!

THE BEST PART OF THE WEEK: I felt my first movement. I have felt it three times but was unsure. Daisy likes to lay on my belly so I thought it was her making the movement until last night I was all alone in the bed and I felt it again. It is VERY faint and the only way I can feel it is when I am laying flat and very still. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I LOVE YOU BABY GIRL!

P.S. Jay it is NOT gas it is OUR baby girl!

Baby Furniture

I am struggling with baby furniture. I originally picked an antique white and now I think I am changing my mind to espresso. Most furniture in my house is cherry. My thoughts are: I have a light shag carpet being put in the Bella Grace’s room and her bedding is white and pink (all and all a very pastel pattern) which leads me to think I need darker furniture. What do you think? Espresso? OR Antique White?

16 Weeks

Week 16 was another great week of pregnancy! I have had 2 episodes of “car sickness” this week BUT still not enough to complain about. I love being pregnant! I got to enjoy my FIRST mothers day. Jay and Bella Grace gave me flowers and a SWEET card. I love them both so much. I am getting so close to half way done…I am starting to get a little nervous. So much to do and so little time!

Mothers Day was amazing. Jose took Chason, Maggie, his mother, Jay and I to the Georgian Club. The food was amazing. Mrs. Worthy and Emme were unable to make it on time due to some confusion but we still had a blast.

We hosted the first shower at our house on Saturday for Mary and Jimmy. Jay worked his butt off clean the basement, cutting grass, and help dad bleach the porch. My dad was another BIG help. He came over to pressure wash my front porch and of course the pressure washer was broke. My dad hand scrubbed the porch. IT LOOKS GREAT! Thanks dad. The shower turned out to be a great…nice weather, great food, and drinks. The hit of the party was the “Margarita Machine.”

I am posting pictures of my week 16 belly and the new carpet on the stairs. The carpet looks great and smells awesome. Bye bye nasty stair carpet.

WHAT A GREAT WEEKEND. THANKS JAY FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK GETTING THE SHOWER READY!

My goal is to have Bella Grace’s room carpeted, painted, furniture, and bedding done by the end of July.
