17 weeks 4 days

Week 17 has been good so far. I have felt great. I have been walking as much as the weather will allow. I did a modified version of kickboxing the other night…goodness my legs are sore. I also got to see my friend’s cute pregnant belly this week. I think she is the cutest pregnant woman ever. I am very excited to be having kids so close together because we have a lot in common. She is/was my running buddy. Once our babies are born I want to starting running with her again (running 5k’s). JAY you know what that means: I NEED A BOB! P.S. I found the yellow BOB I want on Craig’s List for $150.

As far as my job goes: I AM STILL HOLDING MY BREATH. I love being a teacher. This year has been a tough year with some of my co-workers but nothing Jay can’t help me get over. Jay reminds me how great of a job teaching will be when Bella Grace is growing up. I would love being on the same schedule as her. I am crossing my fingers for Friday…I want a contract in my hand!!! There are 3 more weeks until summer.

Mary’s wedding is this weekend, so we are going to be VERY busy. I am sure my feet our going to hurt when it is over. But it will be worth it to see my childhood friend marry the man of her dreams.

Like most pregnant women my emotions are a little crazy. This weeks belly pictures made me upset because I felt like they turned out BAD because Jay was in a hurry. It is so much easier to blame Jay for EVERYTHING! Ha ha ha We will be taking belly pictures again this week with a better outfit.

Bella Grace: your mommy and daddy love you so very much. It is weird how we already love you more than anything in this world. Don’t tell your daddy BUT I think he is going to be a way better parent because he is so easy going. I was yelling yesterday about something (who knows what) and Jay leaned over and whispered to my belly, “Bella your mommy is a yeller so if you ever need anything you will come to me.” He is probably right!

THE BEST PART OF THE WEEK: I felt my first movement. I have felt it three times but was unsure. Daisy likes to lay on my belly so I thought it was her making the movement until last night I was all alone in the bed and I felt it again. It is VERY faint and the only way I can feel it is when I am laying flat and very still. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE! I LOVE YOU BABY GIRL!

P.S. Jay it is NOT gas it is OUR baby girl!
