33 Weeks

Week 33 has been a good week so far. I am so happy with the progression of my sweet Bella Grace. My mother seems to think my belly is really noticeable NOW! Jay was gone all weekend for a bachelor party so I got to spend some much needed time with my mother.

Sunday I had my first baby shower. Thank you Chason, Maggie, and Mrs. Worthy for throwing me such a beautiful baby shower. The cake was absolutely beautiful and it tasted awesome. Bella got a lot of stuff:
Bouncy seat
Jumperoo
Bumbo seat and tray
Brown recliner (I can’t wait for it to get here. Her room is going to be completed.)
Safety gate
Changing pad cover
Clothes, Clothes and more Clothes
Crotched booties, hat, and sweater
2 Car seat savers
Wipe warmer
Diaper Genie
Sleepsacks
Diapers
Floppy seat
High chair
Blankets
Photo Session (maternity pictures, birth, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and a year)
Bella Grace is already spoiled. She has EVERYTHING she needs and more. I hope she likes everything as much as I do.

I am still feeling pretty good. Cheerleading starts this Saturday which is defiantly a day of rest for me now so I am trying to prepare.

My mom got her last surgery date (August 31st). I am posting a picture of my mother at my shower (she is so pretty.) My dad came over after the shower to help put stuff together which was a big help. Who knew a bouncy seat needed instructions?

I am so ready to meet you Bella Grace!

32 Weeks

32 Weeks! I am on the downward slope now. Bella Grace I can not wait to meet your you. I am so excited that ALL I talk about is Bella Grace this and Bella Grace that. I went to the doctor and Bella Grace’s heart beat was 147. I gained 2 more pounds putting me at a total of 21. I am still pleased with my weight gain and so is the doctor. I told the doctor I do a lot of crying OVER stupid stuff…she said it was normal. I have no idea why I cry a lot because I am so happy to be meeting my sweet girl in 7 or less weeks.

I am now MORE anxious then ever. I am ready for her to come. I also asked the doctor about planning an induction. Dr. Jo said they would schedule one for the end of week 38 or week 39 depending on how my cervix is holding out. My belly is HUGE! I am uncomfortable after I eat or if I stand for long periods of time. I can’t imagine getting much bigger. Her foot already gets stuck in my rib cage…there is no room left.

Dennis McLarty you are MY handyman. Thank you for helping put my closet selves up. What would I do without you? I will post a picture of the closet soon. Anybody who knows me knows that I am an organization weirdo…I take after my daddy. We have a tiny closet in the master bedroom. We woke up at 5:00am one morning to a LOUD bang. Our closet self had fallen. My dad came over on Saturday and worked for 9 hours redoing my closet shelving and now he have a lot more room and organization. AND my mom cooked us an amazing dinner after all the hard work. Thanks mom and dad.

Jay has been amazing through this whole process. Last night I could not sleep and finally at 3:00am he woke up and said roll over and I will rub your belly so that might make you go to sleep. IT WORKED! He must already have the fathers touch. I also get a text from him saying, “We are going to be parents in less then 2 months.” We are both so excited!

Thank you God for the most amazing husband in the WORLD! Bella Grace you have no idea how lucky you are to have such an amazing daddy!

OMG OMG OMG we are going to be parents in less then 2 MONTHS!!!

31 Weeks

31 weeks and going strong. I am now in the single digit weeks left until delivery (8 weeks until our baby girl is in MY ARMS.)

This week was a much better week. I have air conditioning in my room which is AWESOME. Not much went on this week. Cheerleading is going good. I am way tired after cheerleading practice. All I want to do is come home and go straight to sleep.

I also want Bella Grace to know how lucky she is…
I had a sweet dear friend give me some bibs, changing pad, changing pad cover, bumboo seat, hairbows, and a brush set. Posted below is a picture. Thanks Laura Freeman. The Worthy’s really appreciate all that you have given us.

My baby showers are quickly approaching. Mary Beth thank you for everything you have done for BOTH my wedding and baby showers. Your invitations are so stinken cute. I LOVE THEM!!!

30 Weeks

30 Weeks! Another week down and WOW how time is flying. This week was a long week. I started school, parents were out of town, the air conditioning was out in my classroom, and Daisy got hurt.

Everything is still going great. The iron pills seem to be helping a lot more with the dizziness. Bella Grace will be here before we know it!!!

I think my mother instinct has kicked in. I came home to my sweet Daisy girl bleeding around her neck and she could barely walk. I rushed to the vet and Jay met me there within minutes. I WAS SO SCARED!!! The initial thoughts were Payton (my sweet Great Dane) had bitten her. I did not think it was possible. After several people looked at Daisy’s wounds they said it looks more like a birds talons. Needless to say we are not allowing her outside with out me EVER again. We have also made it a point to work with Payton on being gentler (i.e. running in house, stepping on toes, and hitting with her tail). She is getting much better. I love my dogs so much. Needless to say Payton and Daisy are going to be jealous of Bella Grace.

Going to the lake is out of the question now! We went to the lake for 8 hours and I hurt so badly the next day. No more lake for me until after Bella Grace.

29 Weeks

29 Weeks and going STRONG! I am so excited to meet my sweet Bella Grace! I never knew you could love something so much (I love my husband too!)

Went to the doctor this week and I have gained a total of 19 lbs. The doctor thinks my weight gain is real good. I am right on track to gaining 28 – 30 for the entire pregnancy. Let’s hope I keep doing this good. I mentioned my dizziness on week 28…well come to find out my IRON is extremely low and that is what is causing me to get dizzy. I am now taking iron pills in hopes of helping with my dizziness. It is kind of scary when I feel like I am in a black hole and I am about to faint. I notice it the most in the morning, walking, and in the heat.

BELLA GRACE will be here in 10 weeks or less. OMG OMG OMG I can’t wait.

Jay and I have come to have settled on how long I will be on maternity leave. I will not be return to work until after the Christmas break no matter how early the baby comes. I am breastfeeding and really want to enjoy my time with my sweet little girl.

Bella Grace: your daddy is the BEST. He is going to be such a good father. He is really helping your mommy out a lot. With my growing belly my back has become a little sore and he rubs it nightly. I love your daddy so much.

28 Weeks

28 Weeks went by way to fast! I was very busy at cheer camp all week. I really enjoyed the girls but man was I tired when I got home. Every thing is going very good. I have started noticing some dizzy spells. When I go to the doctor next week I will be asking about that symptom. I bought Bella’s first cheerleading uniform. She is going to be soooo stinking cute. I love her so much already. My good friend Carlo brought baby Bella a cute oneize from the 2010 World Cup. I thought that was super sweet. I have also been stocking up on coupons for diapers so I went and bought and $100 worth and now her entire closest is full of diapers. WOW the money I saved with all the coupons ($48 dollars worth).
