37 Weeks

The bleeding stopped. I have had lots of period like cramps which the DR said is my body getting ready for labor. My break was awesome. I really enjoyed relaxing, sleeping, and eating. I went to the DR again on Friday and the mid wife was amazing. I had lost 1.5 pounds since the last Friday and my iron was a little low. NO WORRIES. She preformed another internal exam. I was more prepared this time. I brought extra clothes and underwear. Who would have ever thought internal exams who be so painful and bring on so much blood. At least this time I quit bleeding by Monday and there were NO blood clots. Scary stuff (blood)! I have not seen any blood in over 9 months so it FREAKS ME OUT. Bella is still doing well. She said my cervix has gotten shorter and I have dilated to a 1. Again the DR said you can be dilated to 1 for a couple of hours or this could go on another couple of weeks. She did say next week I could talk to Dr. Grogen about inducing at week 39. I have no idea what I want to do. I want to know she will be here and when BUT I also want to experience call/waking Jay up to tell him it is TIME!

I still feel GREAT. I have had NO swelling. I have low blood pressure and little weight gain.

Jay and I also took some maternity pictures. I feel like I waited to long in the pregnancy to take them. I hope they turn out okay. I am not sure what I will do with them but they were a gift.

Jay continues to amaze me everyday. He is going to be a wonderful father. He told my dad it want hit him that he is a dad until he is driving home from the hospital with a baby in the car. He actual said my dad can drive us home because he wants to be in the back with her. That was so cute!!!

Week 36

Everything is going smooth. I now go to the DR every Friday. I had my first internal exam this week…NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! Jay and I both had a little freak out. Dr. McDaniel’s told me I would probably spot after the exam. WELL before I could even stand up from having the exam there was blood all over the table and all over me. WE WERE SCARED. Sorry for all the graphic information. I went home in some pain which lead me to sleep the rest of the day and night away. I bleed for a few days after but it started to slow down. At this appointment I had gained a total of 23 pounds. The DR seems real impressed…crap I am impressed because I thought I would gain a ton. Bella weighs 5 pounds and 3 ounces which is still measuring small but her feet are 3 inches long. SMALL BUT BIG FEET 

I am so ready to meet my sweet baby girl. I asked about inducing and the DR said my cervix is still very long and I have not dilated. The DR also said it can happen over night or last several more weeks. OMG the anticipation is killing me.

35 Weeks

I am entering the last month of my pregnancy! I feel like time is flying. Jay and I are so excited. All I think about is our sweet baby girl. She will be here so soon. I never knew I could love something so much ALREADY!

I am still doing well on the weight gain. I have gained 23 pounds and I feel like I will be able to lose it quickly. This past week or so I am starting to feel slightly uncomfortable. I am having period like cramps and contractions. Jay said last night was the first time he felt Bella move with that much strength. She is getting so strong. I also feel like she is dropping. I have noticed an egg shaped belly instead of round. Two more weeks and she will be considered full term.

I talked with my cousin Nicole for about an hour. I told her about all the things I have been feeling and what I was scared of. She helped relive a lot of my fears. I told her that me not going back to work until January 3rd relieved a lot of anxiety. I am ready to go into labor BUT not really. I have started to pack our hospital bag. I really need to get on that. I also do not want to go now because that will be a lot more maternity leave then we anticipated.

Bella’s Halloween outfits came in the mail yesterday. I am posting a picture of her outfits. On Halloween she is going to be a Cat. I bought the giraffe and zebra because I thought they were cute. I want to have a Christmas picture with Jay in Red, Me in zebra and Bella in zebra & red.

I would really like to give birth on October 3rd which was my papaw’s birthday…we shall see.

Week 34

I have 5 ½ weeks left. OMG is time flying? Jay and I are really getting very excited. I am ready to meet our baby girl. I was really sick at the end of last week. My mother took me to the doctors on Wednesday and they said I had a bad stomach bug. I lost 4 pounds and did not feel like eating ANYTHING! Jay, mom, and dad took very good care of me. Missing three days of work made me very sad because that is time away from Bella.

Saturday was our first football game. Sitting 5 hours on bleachers can make any pregnant woman’s butt HURT! My cheerleaders did very well. I am proud of them. Of course I would never tell them exactly how good they looked because I want them to get better and better.

My dad and I put Bella’s car seat in my car. I put her swing together all by myself!WOW how that made it feel real close. Bella’s brown recliner came in and it completes her room. It is sooooo comfy.
