Thank God Jay took me out of town on a date. I started my period yet again. Jay woke up early Saturday (1/9/2010) and said get ready. He took me on a surprise date day which turned into two days. He drove me to North Carolina giving me clues every 30 minutes. I never guessed correctly so finally he just told me.

We had a BLAST. I really enjoyed my time alone with just my husband. I AM GOING TO ENJOY MORE OF THAT TIME.
There will be NO MORE baby talk from me for a little while. I have forgotten what it is like to be happy with the way my life is NOW. I have drove Jay crazy and we BOTH need a break from the baby CRAP! It will happen when it happens. That is my new MOTTO!

2 days before excepted period…
I really thought this was going to be our month. I WAS WRONG!
My Christmas Break was awesome. I had such a great time with my family and friends. Jay got me hardwood floors and a new washer and dryer for Christmas. What a GREAT Christmas. Jay got a wii and a kegerator.
Jay’s company Christmas party (12/22/09)- he had the party at La Cocina. Jay provided dinner and drinks for his employees and their families. Jay and Brad got toys for all the employees’ kids. I was so proud of my husband and his company. HE WORKS SO HARD!
Bryan home for 3 days – I really tried to send EVERY minute with my brother. We went to eat a few times. We went to a BAR once. That was all I could handle.
Christmas Gifts – we got dad a tomtom, mom pj’s and a nail gift card, and Bryan a GA jersey. I think EVERYBODY had a great Christmas.
Mike Scott – stayed a week with us. I worked his little butt off. He fixed Jay’s paint job, the ceiling, raked leaves, and put a shower head on. It was so nice getting the little odds and ends done. BUT I was glad when he left. I wanted some alone time with my husband before my break came to an end.
New Years Eve we had a party at our house. I thought it went real well. Jay really enjoyed using the kegerator.
Jay and I sleep the last 2 days of break away. Even with NO heat. In our house it was 52 degrees. Dad had to come over and fix the thermostat.
That was a quick recap of my break. For the past week I have been very moody with some cramping in my stomach. I also gained 10 lbs over the break so I thought I was pregnant. Well I could not wait anymore so I took a test yesterday (3 days before my missed period) Jay and I both thought we saw a VERY VERY VERY faint pink line. So we jumped in the car and went and bought a digital test. I took one yesterday and again this morning and it read “not pregnant.” Oh how I wish it was wrong. Today I thought I started seeing some spots. I know my period is lurking around the corner. So much for telling my mom she is going to be a grandma before she is put to sleep.
Here are my New Year’s Resolutions:
Quite smoking (it has been two days with NONE!)
Get down to 145 lbs. (By May 1st I can weight 145 by losing 2 lbs a week.)
Exercise more!
Be happy with what I am already blessed with.
I will be praying!
