I have been to the doctor 2 times since my last post. I went at 12w and 5d for the NT test. Jay was busy working his butt off the week I was on Spring Break so he was unable to go to this visit…I thought it was going to kill him. This visit ended up being a VERY VERY good visit. I found out that we passed the NT test and that we are having a GIRL! I thought Jay was going to cry when I told him what all he missed. He still keeps saying that it is only an 80% chance it is a girl. This was a big turning point in my pregnancy. I got to see her moving all around and hear that precious heartbeat. He also decided her name is going to be Isabella Grace Worthy and we are going to call her “Bella Grace.”
Are second visit was this Wednesday. Dr. Grogan was real please with all of my results. I have lost 2 pounds since the last visit. I have been jogging/walking more. Jose did another ultrasound in his office so that Jay could see our little girl for himself. Jay was excited to see her moving around.
So for 13w5d I am feeling GREAT. I have my energy back. I have been jogging/walking 3 to 4 times a week. I am able to stay up much later now (9:30 or 10:00pm). All-in-all I love the second trimester.
Good things that have happened in the past two weeks:
Jay worked very hard to put our new hardwoods down. Thank you for working so hard. We also picked the bedding we like. And last but not least are baby is still happy and growing inside of ME!!!
Life is good!
